Sean is a serial entrepreneur and successful business developer who has founded nearly a dozen companies across a range of industries, including software, personal health, hospitality, wave pool development, craft brewing, and other beverage ventures. In his founding role at CBi, he has returned to the medical device field for the second time. Sean is passionate about building companies and is especially motivated by the opportunity to help create products that can genuinely improve and even potentially save people's lives.

Attended medical school at the University of California-Davis and completed his board-certified training in Emergency Medicine at LAC+USC Medical Center. Now practices Emergency Medicine in San Diego. Studied economics at the University of Virginia where he competed at the 1992 Olympic Trials in the decathlon and was a two-time decathlete All-American and 3-time ACC champion. Has served in various roles including assistant medical director, trauma journal review editor, and several hospital-based committees.

President of The Walters Group - responsible for planning, operations, and administration across a wide range of holdings and activities including residential/commercial real estate, golf course ownership, auto dealerships, philanthropy, and a mix of public and private investments. Previous back-to-back stints as CEO of two different consumer products companies, leading them each through restructuring, revitalization, and successful exits on behalf of their private equity owners. Began career at Callaway Golf, working initially as a Research Analyst within the R&D & Testing function and finishing as SVP Global Brand & Product 18 years later. Holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Harvey Mudd College and has completed executive education programs at both the Stanford Graduate School of Business and The Kellogg School of Management.

Over 24 years of corporate development and strategy experience, delivering above-segment revenue and profit growth in highly competitive business markets through global market entry and expansion and differentiated product and services. Brings experience in market intelligence, strategic planning, portfolio analysis, buy- and sell-side M&A, and operational integration. Formerly Global Vice President of Strategy & Portfolio Management for Olympus Corporation, a $7B leading endoscopic and therapeutic solutions provider. Prior to Olympus, served as Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at Stryker Corporation, where he led global M&A and strategic planning for Stryker's largest implant businesses — Trauma, Foot & Ankle, and Upper Extremity — representing a combined revenue of ~$4B. Sits on the Boards of Happe Spine and VisageX.

Andy brings over 25 years of experience in technology leadership. He is currently the Director of Technology for AWS Strategic Accounts, where he leads a team of technologists helping the world's most advanced organizations stay on the frontier of AI. He previously served as Vice President of Engineering at Intuit, leading the technology stack powering TurboTax Live and QuickBooks Live, and led Intuit's 100% migration to AWS as Head of Cloud Platform Engineering and Architecture. He has also held leadership roles at eBay and Shutterfly.

Holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on medical devices. Extensive experience in research and development, verification and validation, and manufacturing of Class I, II, and III medical devices. Has working experience at the US FDA, Center for Devices and Radiological Health where she conducted regulatory reviews and contributed to regulatory science. Led and managed teams through clinical trials and commercialization.

Over 30 years of consulting and industry experience in the life sciences industry. Extensive experience leading manufacturing operations, development, engineering and supply chain teams to substantially improve profitability, quality and customer service. Previously SVP of Operations at Acutus Medical, SVP of Operations at Volcano Corporation (Philips), and Director of Operations at Guidant Corporation (Abbott). Graduated from University of Utah with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Quality engineer with over 30 years of experience in Class II and III medical devices. Has had experience in multiple facets of the design process and control including systems engineering, manufacturing, quality, and software DevOps. Integrally involved in the international medical device product launch across cardiovascular space.

Attended medical and business school at the University of California-Irvine, where he completed a joint MD / MBA program. Completed his Emergency Medicine residency and Ultrasound Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA. Now practices Emergency Medicine in San Diego and a critical access hospital in Northern California. Studied psychology at the University of Redlands and played quarterback on the football team. Currently serves on multiple hospital-based committees focusing on quality and patient safety.

Background in digital marketing and healthcare growth, Kellen has led initiatives spanning brand positioning, provider adoption, and patient acquisition, particularly for private practice healthcare providers and emerging medical technologies. His approach combines data-driven strategy with a deep understanding of how providers and users make purchasing and clinical decisions. Kellen is known for translating complex medical innovations into clear, compelling messaging that drives adoption across EMS systems, clinics, and healthcare organizations.

AJ graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where he studied pre-med and played NCAA baseball throughout his time at the school. During his youth, he also gained experience in the hospitality industry. Since graduating, AJ has been with EXG for over two years, progressing from an inside sales role to his current position managing accounts, onboarding new customers, and leading conference initiatives.
